WHEELS FOR WORK

Wheels for Work II provides reliable cars to low-income Saratoga County residents in need of transportation in order to maintain employment.

Upon acceptance into program the participant is provided with budget counseling, points reduction classes, $350 toward car insurance, AAA membership, infant/child car seat, driving lessons if needed, and a reliable car.

Eligibility requirements include: 21 years of age, Saratoga County residents, household income at or below 200% of federal poverty guideline (TANF eligible), pregnant or have a minor child in the household or paying support for a minor child, able to be insured, able to afford to maintain the car and insurance payments post participation, valid NYS drivers license, employed or have a bona-fide job offer.
